After arrival at International Airport in Delhi, Shweta Holidays representatives greets you and your family. Then you will be escorted to the pre booked hotel. Over night stay in Delhi.
After breakfast sightseeing tour of New Delhi, Jewel in the crown of the British Empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate the President’s House, Red fort, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial. Drive to Agra. Arrival in Agra, transfer you to the hotel.
After breakfast visit the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This splendid monument was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal after her death. Also visit the Red fort - the rusty and majestic red- sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. Later transfer to railway station to board the overnight train to Varanasi to Agra.
Upon arrival in Varanasi, Shweta Holidays representatives will assist to transfer you to the hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy sightseeing tour of Varanasi. The tour covers Temples, one of the biggest universities of India (Banaras Hindu University). In the evening, view “Aarati” ceremony on the Ghats. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
In the morning, enjoy boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Later excursion to Sarnath, 10km east of Varanasi, is one of the Buddhism’s major centers of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon. Visit the deer park and the museum and later back to Varanasi.
Drive to Bodhgaya .Visit the Mahabodhi Temple for the prayers and meditate near the Bodhi Tree. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Later visit the Sri Lankan monastery. Later in the day visit the village of Sujata, which is where a woman with the same name gave Lord Buddha his first meal ( milk & rice pudding ) after he came out of the austerities he was performing and broke his fast.
Morning leave for Bodhgaya - Asthe place of the Buddha's Enlightenment, Bodhgaya is the spiritual home of Buddhists. It attracts tens of thousands of believe
Breakfast at hotel. Morning leave Patna to Kushinagar carrying lunch box.On arrival transfer to hotel, Kushinagar is where the Buddha finally attained Mahaparnirvana. Amongst the ruins are the Mukutbandhan Stupa and a beautiful statue of the reclining Buddha overnight at hotel
Drive to Lumbini, visit Birth place of Lord Buddha, on arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Nirvana Temple, Ramabhar Stupa & Cremation site of Lord Buddha, overnight at hotel.
Drive to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu & transfer to hotel.City tour of Kathmandu. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
After breakfast visit to Patan City, Swyabhunath, golden temple & Bodhnath. Overnight stay at hotel.
